Working with the National Catholic Safeguarding Commission (NCSC)

Jocelyn is committed to improving services for all those affected by child sexual abuse. She is honoured to serve as a member of the NCSC’s Survivor Advisory Panel and contribute to the work of the Commission for a three year term starting October 2016. The Panel ensures the NCSC receives appropriate and timely advice from a survivor perspective and informs the work of the NCSC regarding safeguarding policies, procedures and practices within the Catholic Church of England and Wales. Jocelyn is leading on survivor research for the Panel, and is particularly interested in hearing about national and international best practice involving survivors of faith-based abuse within the UK and internationally.
