Coaching and Mentoring
In our individual coaching and group mentoring we create a safe space for generative problem-solving, and teach a range of techniques for effective leadership and emotional resilience. The notion of maturity in the mindsets of professionals, their managers and leaders is critical in effective child protection practice and leadership. So too are containing processes and structures that enable anxiety, suspicion, fear and discomfort to be appreciated as essential and creative emotions, which may be the key to a more accurate understanding of experience ( and especially children’s experiences) and not distractions to be deflected or denied.
We explore the emotional territory of child protection practice to build a range of reflective yet confident supervision & practice leadership practices. In our group mentoring we combine taught input, video materials and a range of tools and techniques so that new knowledge (or practice wisdom) is shared through a rigorously facilitated and yet safe ‘support and challenge’ process.
We also offer short term coaching on a private basis for interview preparation, career enhancement and transition.
